* This Sunday, October 1st the High School Marching Panthers will be performing at the Ross County Marching Band Festival. The festival is held at Paint Valley High School and begins at 3:00 pm. The band will be performing their award winning show "The Great Unknown" along with show from the other Ross County Bands.

* Following the announcements all juniors should report to the cafeteria for a brief junior class meeting.
* The SE Cross Country team competed Saturday at the 52nd annual "Patty Forgey" Rio Grande Cross Country Invitational. For the middle school boys, Jacob Bunke finished 171/249 with a new personal best time of 15:33. For the HS girls, Karlie Peters finished 33/204 with a time of 21:59, Emma Slatton finished 84/204 with a time of 24:26, and Addyson Stewart finished 166/204 with a new personal best time of 28:36. For the HS boys, Gage Renison finished 159/296 with a time of 21:09. Cole Leasure placed 179/296 with a new personal best of 21:36 and Grayson Roberts earned a 25th place trophy with a new personal best time of 17;47.

* Congrats to the Junior High Football team with the sweep of Zane Trace ; 8th grade won 28-12 and 7th grade won 6-0.
*The Southeastern Cross Country team competed last night at the Jackson "Elyse Black Memorial" Invitational. For the middle school boys, Jacob Bunke finished 20th. For the High School girls, Karlie Peters earned a 4th place medal. Emma Slatton placed 7th, and Addyson Stewart placed 13th. For the High School boys, Grayson Roberts earned a 6th place medal. Gage Renison placed 17th, and Cole Leasure placed 30th.
*There will be a meeting for all members of the Junior class, including PRCTC students (bus riders and drivers) on Monday morning, September 25th. This brief meeting will take place immediately following morning announcements. Students will receive a parent letter with out scheduled fundraisers, requirements for junior class representatives, and decorating committee. These items have also been mailed home.

* Congratulations to the entire varsity cross country team for an outstanding performance Saturday at their home meet, the Aaron Reed Memorial Invitational. For the high school girls, Karlie Peters earned a 1st place finish with a new personal best time Emma Slatton placed 25th place, and Addyson Stewart placed 50th with a new personal best time. Gage Renison placed 22nd with a new personal best time, and Cole Leasure placed 69th with a new personal best time.

*SE Cross Country competed during a rainy evening last night at the Adena Village Invitational. For the Junior High boys, Jacob Bunke ran 18:44 and placed 44th. For the High School Girls, Karlie Peters earned a 7th place medal with a personal best time of 22:07. Emma Slatton placed 19th with a time of 25:41. Addyson Stewart ran a personal best time of 28:49 and placed 29th. For the High School boys, Grayson Roberts earned a 4th place medal with a personal best time of 18:01. High School girls Karlie Peters earned a 22nd place medal at Wellston and a 7th place medal at Huntington while running a personal best time of 23:28 at Huntington. Emma Slatton earned a 26th place meda at Wellston. Addyson Stewart ran a personal best time of 29:49 at Wellston. High School boys, Grayson Roberts earned a 11th place medal at Wellston, a 10th place medal at Huntington and ran a season bst time of 18:49 at Huntington. Gage Renison earned a 42nd place medal at Wellston, a 20th place medal at Huntington, and ran a personal best time of 20:30 at Huntington. * The performing arts department will be putting on the high school musical November 17th through November 19th. We hope you will “be Our Guest” as we prepare to put on the Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast!
Cast placement information will be available to high school student this coming Monday outside of Mrs. Adelsperger’s room. Students interested in more information are encouraged to sign up on the interest forms located outside of Mrs. Adelsperger’s room and the cafeteria today. Students who are put their name down on the interest form will receive cast placement information via email a day early!
