Approximately 350 students attend classes at Southeastern High School with over 50 students attending the Pickaway-Ross Career Technology Center. The Ohio Department of Education has rated our high school as being “Excellent” for 5 of the past 6 school years. The staff consists of 22 teachers, one counselor/athletic director, principal, three aides, and 2 attendants which assist with special needs students.

Our high school day consists of nine periods. Graduation requirements are currently 22 credits, 16½ of which are required with the other 5½ units being elective courses. Required courses are: English—4 credits; Social Studies—4 credits; Science—3 credits; Mathematics—4 credits; Physical Education, Health, and Senior Seminar—1/2 credit each; Fine Arts, Foreign Language, or Technology—1 credit; Electives—4 ½ credits. Advance placement courses offered for college credit include, AP Calculus and AP English. Southeastern High School is a member of the Scioto Valley Conference with 13 Varsity Boys and Girls athletic teams competing. Other extracurricular activities include instrumental and vocal music, drama, and quiz bowl. Southeastern High School is proud of the excellent tradition it has achieved in academics as well as in the athletic and performing arts programs.

Southeastern Middle School 5-8

Southeastern Middle School consists of approximately 400 students in grades 5-8. Our staff consists of 19 teachers. Our middle school also shares staff with the elementary and high school buildings for art, music, and physical education. In addition to the core curriculum students are able to participate in band, choir, and many extracurricular activities.

At Southeastern Middle School it is our goal to facilitate a safe, nurturing school environment in which students may grow and develop further in their academic life. We realize that a positive school staff, parental support, and a challenging curriculum will be the key to your child’s success.

Southeastern Elementary Pre K- 4 Principal: Nicole Wills
Southeastern Elementary consists of approximately 370 students, grades pre-school through fourth grade. The staff consists of 20 regular classroom teachers, 4 intervention teachers, a physical education teacher, art teacher, music teacher, 7 paraprofessionals, a guidance counselor, school nurse, and secretary.
