Morning Announcements; 9/29/2022
*The Southeastern  Homecoming Dance, "Party the Night Away!" will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 7-10.  Any SE student wishing to bring a non-Southeastern student as a guest must complete a Guest Request form available in the High School Office. All guest request forms must be approved by Mr. Ruckel before tickets may be purchased.  Guest ages may range from 9th grade to 20 years old. No middle school students are allowed at the dance.  Tickets will be $15 per person and will be on sale Monday, September 26, through Friday, September 30 during high school lunch. No tickets will be sold at the door. See Mrs. Cox in room 122 if you have questions.

* Final voting for Homecoming King and Queen will be open until noon today. Google Classroom for both ballets.

* Today during 8th period, all HS band members are to report to the band room for Homecoming Court practice. Teachers should have an email with the roster of band members.

* MADE Ambassador meeting today at lunch in Mr. Grigsby's room.

* Congratulations to the boys golf team on a well played season. They finished their season yesterday with a 9th place finish in the sectional tournament. They were led by Conner Smith, who will go on to represent Southeastern as an individual at districts on Monday. 

* High School Bible Study will be held today during lunch in Mr. Mark's room 149. 

* Students who signed up for the HS Quiz Bowl team will meet during lunch on Friday, September 30th in Mr. Marks' room. Students need to bring their lunch to the room.

* High School students who submitted an application for the Art Club will be meeting during lunch in room 149 today. Bring your lunch to Mr. Marks' room.  

* Each day this week MADE will be randomly choosing 5 members for prizes. Today's winners are:

Morning Announcements; 9/26/2022

* Good Luck to the ladies golf team as they will be participating in the sectional golf tournament at Jaycees. Go Panthers!

* On Friday, our Varsity Football team fell to Huntington.  Our offense was led by RJ Cartright in receiving.  

* Congratulations to our JV Football team for their 32-12 victory over Huntington on Saturday!

* High School students who submitted an application for the Art Club will be meeting during lunch in room 149 tomorrow. Bring your lunch to Mr. Marks' room.  

* Congratulations to the Marching Panthers for their 3rd place finish at the OMEA competition at Portsmouth-West this weekend. The band received excellent ratings in music, general effect, and percussion.

* Congratulations to our girls golf team! They competed last night in the SVC league match and placed 3rd. Grace Williett was runner up with a score of 40. 

* Coach Koker & the SE Volleyball girls would like to thank the student section for their enthusiastic support.  We appreciate it!

* The High School Bible Study will be held today at lunch in Mr. Marks' Art room 149.

 Just a reminder about tardies:
After 3 tardies : 1/2 Friday School
After 6 tardies: 1 Friday School

Students, please follow the dress code and also remember to have a clear stud in any facial piercing that is not in the ear.  The Dress Code is located on page 24 of your HS handbook.

Morning Announcements 9/19/2022

*This past Friday the Varsity Football team came up short against the Westfall Mustangs. In the game our offense was able to gain over 300 total yards. The Panthers were led statistically by Caleb Cutright with over 100 yards rushing. Come out to Huntington this Friday as the Panthers take on the Huntsmen. 

* Congratulations to the Marching Panthers on receiving the following awards at the OMEA Adjudicatd Event at Logan Elm on Saturday:
Best Percussion in Class B; 1st Place Band i Class B-overall, Class C/B Best General Effect, Visual, and music; and Class C/B Grand Champion.
